This month's book is How to Be an Antiracist by Ibram X. Kendi. This book is available as an audiobook and e-book through the North Olympic Library System and can be checked out at the Port Angeles, Clallam Bay, and Forks branches. You can also find it at local bookstores or at your preferred online bookseller.

In How to Be an Antiracist, Dr. Kendi's concept of antiracism reshapes the conversation about racial justice in America while pointing us towards new ways of thinking about ourselves and each other. He asks us to think about what an antiracist society might look like, and how we can play an active role in building it. Throughout this book, he weaves together a combination of ethics, history, law, and science, bringing it all together with a personal narrative of his own awakening to antiracism. This book is for anyone who wants to go beyond an awareness of racism to the next step: contributing to the formation of a truly just and equitable society. He has also written several books geared towards younger audiences, including Antiracist Baby, How to Raise an Antiracist, and How to Be a (Young) Antiracist
