Olympic Peninsula Community Resource Co-Op

Thanks to a grant from the Washington Student Achievement Council (WSAC), United Way of Clallam County, Peninsula College, West Sound STEM Network, and other community service organizations, partnered to create the Olympic Peninsula Community Resource Co-Op. These one-stop centers are designed to offer community members access to wrap around support services while learning how to get started at Peninsula College at the same time.

Services include housing, childcare, transportation, financial aid, college enrollment, advising, and more, all in one location.

Removing Barriers to Education

Suzy Ames
"We know there are real barriers to residents in our community seeking higher education. We can invite people to enter Peninsula College but know it won’t happen until we address some very basic needs. My desire for this program is to give people the tools and hope they need to help achieve their education goals.”
-Suzy Ames, President, Peninsula College
