United Way of Clallam County hosts events throughout the year to engage the community, and raise funds and awareness for the work we do. Read on for a brief description about each event and join us!

Celebrate United is our campaign kickoff event. This celebration takes place annually in September and is an opportunity for the community to celebrate and connect with the common goal of making a real lasting impact in our community. This event has traditionally been a champagne and cupcake brunch, but in 2023, we're mixing it up with a Seahawks Gameday Watch Party & Celebration Event!

Our GALentine's Day event takes place annually in mid-February and is an opportunity to highlight incredible women owned and operated businesses and organizations while raising funds for women in need. This event typically includes an extensive silent auction featuring dozens of items, services and experiences donated by local businesses; cocktails and heavy appetizers; luxury swag bags; and in 2023 we added a fashion show hosted by local woman-owned clothing boutiques.

LIVE UNITED Prom and Awards Ceremony is our annual end of the year event that takes place in mid-May. It's a fun opportunity to experience the magic of prom no matter your age. We celebrate the end of our campaign year while highlighting and honoring community members and businesses who have gone out of their way to make a difference with our LIVE UNITED AWARDS. This event includes some of the fun elements of a traditional prom (corsages, photos, dancing to a live DJ), as well as benefits of attending as an adult (cocktail bar with signature drinks and a full dinner).

United We Hike is our annual virtual Hike-A-Thon that takes place in June and July and is focused on the mental and physical health and wellbeing of our community. Hikers who sign up receive a link to join an exclusive online group where they post pictures and stories about their hikes during the hike-a-thon and each week we do a drawing for prizes. In 2023, we added in-person group hikes to kickoff and end the campaign.

Corporate sponsorship is one of the most important fundraising elements of our major annual events. Without the support of local businesses, we would not be able to make these events accessible to many of our guests and raise the funds that are so necessary for our programs partners.

Sponsorship gives businesses a great opportunity to be part of making a difference in Clallam County while marketing themselves to members of our community. We strive to create levels of sponsorship that are accessible to businesses of all sizes, from home bakers to national companies.

Sponsor or Attend with Your Team

Attending a community fundraising event is a great opportunity to recognize and celebrate the hard work of your team while giving back to the community. If sponsorship isn't an option for you, consider buying a table so that your staff can attend!

Volunteer

As a community organization, we want to partner with the community to host these events. That means that for each of our major events, we invite individuals to join a planning committee where they can share their ideas and time to make the event awesome. In many cases, these individuals receive a free ticket to the event in thanks for their time and efforts.
